Delete Your Account

You can delete your Black Directory account and its data at any time.

In the app (fastest)

Open the app, go to Account › Delete Account and confirm. Deletion is immediate.

Without the app

Email privacy@theblackdirectory.app with the subject “Delete my account” from the email address on your account. We complete requests within 30 days.

What we delete

Your account details, reviews and review photos, saved businesses and events, claims, recommendations, feedback and pending events. Business listings you managed stay in the directory but are no longer linked to you. Copies in our backups are deleted within 30 days. Purchase records are kept for 6 years for tax, as our Privacy Policy explains.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in your App Store subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions to stop future charges.
